A reliable source in the Tourism Ministry asserted that Hesham Zazou, Tourism Minister, has appointed Amr El-Ezabi, Head of Egypt’s Tourism Authority (ETA), as an advisory to the ministry, not first assistant to the minister. The decision will be implemented within days.
The minister’s decision came in the framework of some changes in the ministry, also appointing Mahfouz Ali as a manager of the minister office instead of Heba Lotfy, who was transferred to the planning and following up sector. At once, the assistant of the former tourism minister, Mohamed Badr, was appointed as advisor and transferred to the Tourism Development Authority.
The sources referred that the minister wanted to meet the demands of those who protested for deposing Amr El-Ezabi.
