Switzerland’s confirmed coronavirus cases cross 27,000, death toll hits 1,059

Switzerland’s confirmed coronavirus cases have totalled 27,078 on Friday, up from 26,732 as of Thursday, Reuters reported.

Switzerland’s public health agency recorded 42 more deaths linked to the coronavirus in the past 24 hours, taking the country’s total fatalities to 1,059.
