Suez Canal Revenue Drops To $416m

The Egyptian government has said revenue from the Suez Canal dropped to $415.9m in June from $434.6m in May, Reuters has reported.

In June 2011, revenue was $445.2m, the government said. The waterway is a major source of foreign currency in Egypt, along with tourism, oil and gas exports and remittances from Egyptians living abroad.
