Sisi arrives at Portugal for a three-day visit on deepening bilateral ties

Egypt’s President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi headed Sunday to Lisbon, Portugal, for a three-day official visit.

During the visit, Sisi is scheduled to meet its Portuguese counterpart Marcelo Rebelo de Sousa.

Both leaders are set to discuss means of enhancing political and diplomatic ties as well as deepening mutual cooperation in fields of economy, defence, and scientific research.

Sisi would also meet Head of Portugal’s Assembly of the Representatives of the People, Portuguese Prime Minister, and Lisbon’s Mayor.
