Samir Embaby: Cairo Airport Renews Its International License

Cairo International Airport has renewed the international license by the civil aviation authority, which is under the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).

Samir Embaby, minister of civil Aviation, said the license was suspended since April 11th 2011; referring that the ministry seeks to get the international license for Sharm El Sheikh International Airport in the coming period.

On the sidelines of the press conference, Embaby asserted that Cairo Airport emphasized on the precautionary and security measures in the last period. He pointed out that in case of defects in the airport over the security measures, the international license would be withdrawn.
