by Yomna Yasser

On the sidelines of Beltone’s Annual Investment Conference, Eng. Safwan Thabet –the CEO of Juhayna Food Industries and a former chairman of the board of the 6th of October Investors Association – has praised the Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi for his efforts to attract more investments to the Egyptian market through his foreign trips.

Thabet has noted that Morsi’s visits are going to push the Egyptian economy up towards a real renaissance derived from the anticipated investment flows made by the countries the president had visited.

Thabet told Amwal Al Ghad that Egypt faces a wide range of investment challenges, yet Dr. Hisham Kandil’s government are working hard on providing solutions as well as on sending reassuring messages to all the foreign investors who are willing to make investments in the country.

Thabet expected that Morsi’s visits will result in injecting foreign investments in Egypt worth dozens of billions US dollars within the coming period.

Such visits will also provide dozens of thousands job opportunities and give a real push for the country’s GDP, he added.
