Russia reports 6,198 new coronavirus cases, total now surpasses China’s

The number of reported coronavirus cases in Russia has risen by 6,198 to 87,147, surpassing China’s tally of 82,830 on Monday.
Russia’s coronavirus crisis response centre also said the country registered 50 new deaths due to coronavirus in the past 24 hours, Reuters reported.
