President Abdel Fatah al-Sisi on Tuesday cast his ballot in the 2020 Senate elections.
The General Command of the Armed Forces had taken all measures to secure the 2020 Senate elections nationwide, and provide a safe environment for citizens to cast their votes.
A total of 63 million Egyptian registered voters are entitled to vote in the 2020 Senate elections, distributed among 14 thousand and 92 sub-committees, under full judicial supervision, with the participation of 18,000 judges and the assistance of 120,000 employees.
t is worth mentioning that, polling stations opened in Egypt’s governorates, Tuesday, on the first day of voting on the Senate elections at nine in the morning, amid the influx of voters amidst precautionary measures due to the novel coronavirus.
