Operating Suspended Egyptian Airports to Reactivate Egypt

Egyptian Airports Company said it will hold a meeting next July to operate the airports which have been done for tourists services. This is through the economic feasibility study for operating, in cooperation with airlines and tourism companies.

An official source in the ministry of tourism asserted that the ministry, Egypt Air Company, Private Airlines companies and the tourism private business sector were invited to discuss operating the suspended airports such as; Octobar 6, North Coast, Marsa Matruh, Dakhla and Kharga, Saint Katharine airports.

The source said these airports are suspended because operating them is not profitable. The Egyptian Airports Company called for this meeting to discuss the cooperation between airlines companies and tourism ones; also to discuss how to operate the suspended airports in an economic way that helps in reactivating tourism.
