Egyptian Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab files to Etiopia’s Addis Ababa to head Egypt’s delegation to Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa’s (COMESA) summit on Sunday.
According to a statement released by Egypt’s embassy in Addis Ababa, the summit will start on Monday for two days under the theme of “Inclusive and Sustainable Industralization” with the participation of 19 African states.
COMESA is a free trade area, founded in 1994, extending from Libya in the north of the continent to Swaziland in the south.
Moreover, Egypt is expected to host a joint conference for the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC), East African Community (EAC) and COMESA in June in Sharm El-Sheikh city.
