Dr Hesham Kandil, Egypt’s Prime Minister, decided to pay a one-day visit to Kenya on Tuesday to hold talks with the Kenyan counterpart.
During the visit, Kandil is going to discuss the file of Nile Basin countries and the ways of cooperation between the two countries in the economic and developmental fields, besides the African depth.
After his visit to Kenya, Kandil will fly to the Qatari capital of Doha on Wednesday, during which both sides are going to discuss a number of files; the economic and political relations between the two countries will top the deliberations.
This visit comes after the Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt (CBE), Hesham Ramez, traveled yesterday to Qatar in a visit lasts several days. The Governor is going to meet a number of officials in both financial and banking sectors in Qatar.
It is worth mentioning that Cairo witnessed controversy about Qatar’s commitment to granting Egypt billions of dollars to support the cash reserve in the CBE in the coming period.
