Japan eyes executing electric train project in Egypt’s Alexandria

Japanese government suggested establishing an electric train that links Borg El Arab region with different regions of Alexandria governorate.

Governor Mohamed Abdel Zaher welcomed the Japanese suggestion during his meeting with Japan’s Ambassador to Cairo, Takehiro Kagawa on Friday.

The meeting discussed means of enhancing cooperation between Alexandria and Japan in education and transport fields.

During the meeting, Abdel Zaher and Kagawa agreed on establishing a model school in Alexandria in addition to agreeing on educational and cultural expertise exchange between Alexandria and Japan.
