Iceland on Monday has reported three more cases of the coronavirus, while India and Iraq also confirmed two additional infections of the flu-like virus virus.
Iceland’s Department of Civil Protection and Emergency Management said three patients had tested positive for the coronavirus over the weekend. All of them had recently spent time on holiday in northern Italy, which has become the epicentre of the virus outbreak in Europe.
In addition, India announced two further cases of coronavirus – COVID-19, taking the country’s total infections to five. One of the new cases was a resident of New Delhi, while the other was in Telangana, the government explained.
Elsewhere, Iraq’s health ministry said that two people had infected with coronavirus, bringing the total number of cases in the country to 21.
