Hilton Hotel is the best hotel in Egypt during 2014 as a new opinion poll has found.
The Egyptian Center for Public Opinion Research (Baseera)’s poll commissioned by the leading economic magazine Amwal Al Ghad found that Hilton placed first with 4 percent approval rating among voters – the highest of any other hotels in the country. Hilton’s ranking was backed by providing the best services.
The poll group consists of 550 persons from 18 years and older.
Ranked second, Sheraton enjoys 3 percent approval rating among voters.
Intercontinental Cairo Semiramis and Four Seasons hotels were on the third position, having equal votes with 2 percent. Marriott Hotels ranked as the last place with 1 percent only.
On the other hand 79 percent of the voters said they do not know the best hotel service providers and prices. Such a percentage reflects the absence of the internal tourism concept due to low income of the individuals.
Moreover, another poll also revealed that the bigger percentage of 79% of the voters could not define the best commercial mall in the Egyptian market for 2014.
7 percent agreed that Mall of Arabia in October City is the best mall in the country throughout 2014. Citystars Mall got the second place with 6 percent. Cairo Mall, El-Abed Mall and CityCenter had equal votes with 1 percent.
