Egypt’s Minister of Tourism, Hesham Kandil, will participate in the 15th session of Arab Ministers Tourism Council (AMTC) on 17, 18 October, at the headquarters of the General Secretary of the Arab League.
A number of Arab ministers of tourism and chairmen of tourism authorities in Jordon, Sudan, Iraq, Qatar, Lebanon, and Palestine will participate in the 15th session of (AMTC), in addition to the head of Arab Tourism Organization, and the regional director of World Tourism Organization in Middle East.
Through the meetings, the council will discuss a number of issues; such as announcing the two capitals of Arab tourism for 2014 and 2015. Beirut, Taif, Sharjah, and Erbil are the four Arab countries that nominated. The meetings will also discuss the Arab tourism strategy, the project of protecting community heritage in Arab countries, and developing the intra-tourism.
