German Market Revivify Tourism in Egypt

The tourism advisory in Egyptian embassy to Berlin, Mohamed Gamal, said Egypt witnessed, after the stability, unexpected touristic rise from the German market, which refers to tourism revival and the increasing growth in the number of the German tourists.

In statements to MENA news agency, Mohamed Gamal said the number of German tourists who had been visiting Egypt from January to May 2012 reached 458.741 ones, hiked by 2.39%; and the touristic nights reached 5744917, with 2.42% increase than last year. .

Germany came second after Russia in the number of tourists visited Egypt; compared with the previous years.

He mentioned that tours organizers in the German market made up their minds to double the flights to Egypt to raise the number of the German tourists.

He also said the number of German planes came to Sharm Al Sheikh increased by 6 planes, compared to last year, and more 6 German planes to Mars Alam from 6 different German cities. As per the German planes arrive in Hurghada, they increased by 8 planes from 4 different cities.
