Farmers Union call on Egyptian President Sisi to run for 2018 elections

Chief for the Farmers Union, Hussein Abd al-Rahman, stated that he supports the nomination of President Abd al-Fattah al-Sisi in the 2018 presidential election, during a meeting with the chiefs of the Farmers Union in Egypt on Sunday.

Rahman called on President Sisi to pay close attention to the farmers, who account for 60 percent of the total population, before running for office. The election is to be held no earlier than February 8 and no later than May 8 2018.

the union cheif called on all farmers in Egypt to join the pro-Sisi campaign “Moaeydoon”, to support the nomination of President Sisi, who guarantees the security of Egypt along pulling up the country.

The Council of Matrouh Elders also called on President Sisi to run for the 1981 elections in a message of congratulation sent to him on Sunday, the 44th anniversary of the Arab-Israeli war.

“Our governorate witnessed development projects which eliminated unemployment and helped youth enjoy a decent life,” he said, referring to President Sisi’s directives and adaptation of the New Alamein City’s project. Source: Al-Masry Al-Youm
