Mr Hatem Saif, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for European Affairs, met Wednesday with the British Ambassador to Cairo James Watt at the ministerial headquarters. They looked into several issues that concern the two countries, whether relates to the bilateral relations or the regional states.
The meeting tackled the British economic support to Egypt, besides the latest development between Egypt and the International Monetary Fund (IMF), the results of the latest talks between Egypt and Britain, and also the visit of the British Minister for Middle East and North Africa, Alistair Burt, to Cairo, which had been paid lately.
Both sides discussed numerous issues that the region is witnessing, the Israeli-Palestinian Cause and the Syrian revolution topped the discussion.
