Egypt is set to host the first edition of the two-day Regional Sustainability and Development Forum in September, according to an emailed statement on Monday.
The event will connect leaders, influencers in sustainability, and community development in countries like Egypt, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, and Lebanon.
The forum seeks to discuss the current community challenges and potential opportunities for cooperation.
It does so while seeking to develop regional initiatives to comply with sustainable development goals (SDGs).
It will also offer cooperation opportunities between civil society organisations, government entities, and companies in the private sector.
The forum also aims to improve ways of learning in the fields of sustainability and corporate community responsibility on the public and private scale.
It will also enlighten the youth about the new trends in designing development programmes.
The event will also highlight the importance of pre-university education in achieving development goals during the current economic challenges.
