Egypt: Group Of Egypt’s Friends Launched At European Parliament

Egypt’s Ambassador to Belgium Ehab Fawzy participated in a ceremony Thursday marking the launching of the Group of Egypt’s Friends within the European Parliament.

In a statement, the Egyptian Embassy’s Media Office in Brussels said the launching ceremony was attended by a large number of European lawmakers.

Fawzy said this move reflects the pioneering position assumed by Egypt at the international level in light of its ongoing fight against terrorism.

This group will reinforce relations between Egypt and different European institutions, he said.
