Egypt confirms 112 new coronavirus cases, 18 deaths on Friday

Egypt reported 112 new coronavirus cases on Friday bringing the total infection tally to 102,625 since the outbreak began in February.

The health ministry also reported 18 new deaths, bringing the total number of deaths from the virus to 5,835.

The statement said that 887 patients have been discharged after recovering from the virus, bringing the total number of recoveries to 93,531.
