At the headquarters of Egypt’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the third session of the political consultations will be held tomorrow between Egypt and Canada on the level of the assistants of foreign affairs ministers of the two countries. The session aims at consulting over the bilateral relations, along with the regional and international issues that have common interest. This session is the first one since the 25 January Revolution erupted in 2011.
The ministry has affirmed that it keens on discussing the ways of developing the Egyptian relations with Canada in all fields, as Canada is a prominent country on the international arena, whether on political level or the global economic one. In addition, there is an Egyptian community in Canada that contributes to strengthen the ties between the two nations. The discussion also will look into ways of encouraging and bolstering the Canadian investments to Egypt, in an attempt to support the mutual relations and to serve the interests of their people.
