Egypt and Argentina are set to boost the tourism cooperation, said Egyptian Minister of Tourism and Antiquities Ahmed Issa on Sunday.
This came after a meeting between Issa and Argentina’s Ambassador to Cairo Gonzalo Urriolabeitia.
They discussed ways to enhance cooperation between both nations in the fields of archaeological work, as well as tourism and antiquities.
They also talked about the importance of holding an exhibition of Egyptian antiquities in Argentina.
The exhibition will serve as an opportunity to introduce the ancient Egyptian civilisation to the Argentine people.
Urriolabeitia also said that he expects tourist arrivals from Argentina to Egypt to increase in the near future.
