The Egyptian Film Producers Club (EFPC) has called for the production of short documentaries focusing on Palestine.
The club is inviting Arab filmmakers to engage in documenting and resisting through a number of short films on the Palestinian cause.
The initiative is called “Documentary Films for a Free Palestine” and is welcoming submissions from Arab filmmakers until November 30th.
EFPC said that it intends “to produce a series of short films that provide a perspective on Palestine from the viewpoint of Arab people, offering future generations in the Arab world a chance to explore and understand our shared history.”
The short films will range from three minutes to a maximum of 15 minutes in duration.
The films submitted in this initiative will comprise an archive narrating the story of Palestine.
