National Strategy For Managing Solid Wastes Conference

Ministers of environment, industry, agriculture, local development, electricity, investment and scientific research as well as representatives of the presidential team will inaugurate on Sunday the conference of mining renaissance association, entitled “Towards a unified strategy for managing solid waste and vitality in Egypt”.

Hamdy Zaher, chairman of the association, added that the conference aims at discussing the views of the general authorities, scientists and experts in the field of wastes management. This is to set a certain vision helps in stipulating a united national strategy, and to be implemented by all the governmental, civil, scientific, private and co-operational organizations to reach the best performance and value for the processes of collecting and recycling the solid industrial and domestic wastes.

Zaher said he calls on a number of governorates, great scientists and experts, as well representatives of the civil and co-operational organizations, foreign and national cleaning companies and some foreign ambassadors who are interested in the file, to attend the conference.

The conference will issue its recommendations in the form of national document, to the president Mohamed Morsi. These recommendations will be considered in the national strategy which to face the wastes and to turn them into an income source.
