The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Arab Republic of Egypt and Permanent Representative to the Arab League, Ahmed Abdul-Aziz Kattan, expressed profound thanks and appreciation to His Eminence Sheikh Ahmed Al-Tayeb, the Grand Imam of Al Azhar, for performing a funeral prayer in absentia in Al-Azhar Mosque, for the dear late His Royal Highness, Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, May Allah bless him. Kattan also extended thanks and appreciation to every participant in the prayer, mainly the Grand Mufti of Egypt, Dr. Ali Joma’a; Dr Mohammad Abdul Fadeel, the Minister of Religious Endowments; Dr. Abdul Qaway Khalifah, the Governor of Cairo as well as representatives of Al-Azhar, foreign ambassadors, government officials, representatives of different political powers and faithful Egyptian people.
