4.4 mln Tourists Visited Egypt in 5 Months

The statistics of Tourism Ministry referred to the improvement of the coming tourism’s rates during the period from January to May, which reached 4.4 million tourists compared to 3.4 million ones at the same period last year.

An official source in Tourism Minister said the rate of the increasing number of tourists reached 29.1%, compared to the same period last year. This proves the ability of Egyptian tourism to face crises.

The rate of increasing the tourist nights reached 45.2%, as the coming tourism to Egypt achieved 50.8 nights, compared with 35.1 ones at the same period last year.
