Egypt, Mauritania to sign six cooperation agreements

Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is to meet his Mauritanian counterpart Mohamed Ould Abdel Aziz on Sunday to talk over means of enhancing mutual relations.

The meeting is set to witness signing six bilateral cooperation agreements in different fields between Egypt and Mauritania since the two parties are set to discuss bilateral economic cooperation.

Sisi and Abdel Aziz will also discuss a number of major issues notably  Mauritania’s participation in the joint military force as well as organising the 27th summit of the Arab League – which is headquartered in Egypt- in Mauritania on 26-27 July.

Abdel Aziz arrived in Cairo on Saturday for a three-day visit heading a high-profile delegation. This visit is considered that first one for 40 years ago.
