Suez Canal revenues drop for the third month in a row

Egypt’s Suez Canal revenues dropped -for the third month in a row- 6.9 percent in October 2015 to US$448.8  million compared to US$482.3 million in October 2014, Suez Canal Authority announced Thursday.

In its official statements released Thursday, the authority stated that its revenues from Suez Canal have declined by US$47.9 million in August 2015 and US$21 million in September 2015.

Moreover, Suez Canal Authority is expecting the revenues to reach US$13.2 billion annually by 2023.
