Egypt received an invitation to take part in the African conference on energy due in Addis Ababa on June 2-4, Egypt’s Ambassador to Ethiopia Mohamed Idriss said.
The event will take up means to boost sustainable development in Africa in the energy field, including new and renewable energy, he said.
Egypt’s participation in the event gives the chance to hold several meetings at the governmental and private sector levels to exchange expertise on clean energy technology and means to increase energy production, he added.
