A spokesman for the Egyptian Foreign Ministry, Badr Abdel Atti, asserted that the Japanese firms started intensive campaign for promoting the tourist trips to Egypt, in conjunction with the visit of Nabil Fahmy the Egyptian Foreign Minister to Japan yesterday December18, noting that this follows the Japanese government decision to reduce the level of warning national travels to Egypt.
Abdel Atti explained that Fahmy started in the last Saturday his Asian tour including the visit of China, South Korea and Japan, and the governments of the three countries have already announced to reduce the level of warning to Egypt nationals, just before the visit of the Foreign Minister.
Abdel Atti added that it is expected that the positive decisions announced by the three countries resulted to achieve a significant increase in the number of tourists coming to Egypt from the Asian continent.
