Chairman of the 50-member committee Amr Moussa held a meeting with a group of trade unions heads to discuss their proposals for the new charter.
Head of the Youth and Sport Syndicate Abdul Aziz Abdullah said that the leaders of the unions underlined the necessity to allocate 50% of parliament’s seats for workers and farmers in the proposed constitution.
Moussa said the panel is set to reinstate article 69 of the suspended constitution, which was annulled by the 10-member panel, stipulating that the country shall stimulate sport and sportsmen, Abdullah said.
