Egyptian presidential media adviser and spokesman Ahmed El-Moslimany will meet on Monday with leaders of the youth Rebel campaign at the movement’s headquarters in Giza.
The Rebel campaign has been credited for being the driving force behing the mass rallies on 30 June that led to the ousting of Islamist President Mohamed Morsi.
The scheduled meeting will be followed by a joint press conference with El-Moslimany.
The meeting will take place as part of a presidential initiative to hold talks with several political forces involved in the drafting of the post-Morsi road map and the amendment of the new national charter.
On Wednesday, the presidential spokesman visited the offices of Salafist Al-Nour party, meeting it’s head Younes Makhion to discuss various means of achieving national reconciliation.
As revealed Sunday, members of the Rebel campaign – Mahmoud Badr and Mohamed Abdel- Aziz – are to be included in the 50-member committee, tasked with the ammending of the suspended constitution.
