AfricInvest, a pan-African asset management firm, is investing $40 million (1.2 billion Egyptian pounds) in British University in Egypt (BUE) to boost the university’s growth plans, according to the Cabinet’s statement on Monday.

The capital injection will help the university expand its existing faculties, establish new ones, diversify its curriculum, and implement “enhanced governance tools,” the statement mentioned.

Egypt’s Minister of Higher Education praised efforts that made to develop the educational and research system at the British University and its steady pace towards achieving its education strategy in line with Egypt’s Vision 2030.
