Russian bank, Sberbank, has released its own version of ChatGPT, called GigaChat, which is currently in an invite only testing mode, the bank said on Monday.
What makes GigaChat different is that it allows users to communicate more intelligently in Russian, unlike other foreign neutral networks, the Sberbank stated.
GigaChat is set to challenge the Microsoft-backed startup, OpenAI’s technology, ChatGPT, which has set a trend in the tech world since its release last year, as it gives users more accessibility into AI.
Russia’s top bank, Sberbank, has been investing in technology during the past year, in a way to become less dependent on imports amidst the ongoing Western sanctions over the Russian war in Ukraine.
