Japanese economy has witnessed a revival growth by 2.2 percent on an annual basis in the second quarter of 2022, according to the government data showed on Monday.
The growth is following the positive results of the personal consumption expenditure index that increased 1.4 percent, according to the data.
The outlook remains uncertain due to a resurgence in Covid-19 infections, slowing global growth, supply constraints and rising raw material prices that are boosting households’ living costs.
Gross domestic product (GDP) in Japan had expanded accelerating from a revised 0.1 percent increase in January-March, which smaller than a median market forecast for a 2.5 percent increase.
