Egyptian Minister of Tourism travels to Berlin

Mounir Fakhry Abdel Nour, minister of tourism, traveled today to Berlin in order to participate in ITB Convention lasts from 7 to 11 March.

Egypt participates in ITB Convention as an official partner and a guest of honor, to be thr first Arab country to get this position since the convetion launching in 1966.

Almost 141 Egyptian exhibitors vary between hotels and travel agencies participate in the convention in a more than 2500 cubic meter wing.

More than 170 thousands visitors of businessmen and representatives of organizations, travel agencies and a series of international hotels are expected to visit the convention.

In a press statement, Abdel Al Nour said Egypt’s participation, mainly aims to market Egyptian tourism, in the convention as an official partner this year is a golden chance for Egyptian tourism; especially Egypt will get whole year propaganda and it will put Egypt on the spot for a whole week in Berlin.

He talked about the huge media coverage for Berlin stock market whereas more than 7500 journalist will attend, and this is the second international incident gets this coverage after FIFA world cup.
