The UN’s International Labour Organisation (ILO) forecast on Wednesday that the coronavirus pandemic would wipe out 6.7 percent of working hours globally – an equivalent of 195 million full-time workers – in the second quarter of 2020.
ILO said this would be with a standard 48-hour working week.
In March, the labour agency predicted that around 25 million jobs would be lost by the end of 2020.
