Mobile network operator Vodafone Egypt has achieved around 90 percent 4G coverage over its entire network in the country, senior official said on Tuesday.
“After receiving the 4G licence, Vodafone Egypt worked on a coverage plan according to the geographical distribution of subscribers and of internet services,” external affairs and legal director Ayman Essam told Amwal Al Ghad.
Vodafone Egypt signed a 4G licence agreement with the country’s telecoms regulator for $335 million in October 2016. It also signed a fixed-line phone service licence worth $11.26 million.
