Abu Dhabi’s Industrial Development Bureau (IDB), in partnership with XMILE Group, will establish an enzyme-based fuel additives facility for the reduction of Greenhouse Gas (GHG) Emissions, the first-of-its-kind in the Middle East and Africa (MENA), Emirates News Agency (WAM) reported on Thursday.

The partnership with XMILE Group, a worldwide firm with more than 20 years of experience in creating enzyme-based fuel additives, will significantly enhance UAE efforts to promote sustainable industrial growth in Abu Dhabi, according to WAM.

“Our collaboration with XMILE Group is part of IDB’s commitment to promoting sustainability in the industry. This partnership aligns with the ADDED ‘Circular Economy Policy’ framework, which aims to drive the transition towards an innovative and sustainable economy by empowering industries to prioritise responsible production and consumption,” Executive Director of IDB, Arafat Al Yafei, was quoted as saying by WAM.
