U.S Johnson & Johnson seeks to expand its activities in Egypt using it as a logistic and trade hub for the company’s products to penetrate the African market, Minister of Trade Amr Nassar Said.
The minister also had talks with the North Africa regional director of Johnson & Johnson company, Ramez Fawzy, on the firm’s current investments in the Egyptian market and its future plans.
The meeting was held on the side lines of the 10th World Economic Forum on the Middle East and North Africa that kicked off in Jordan’s Dead Sea region
Johnson & Johnson is an American multinational medical devices, pharmaceutical and consumer packaged goods manufacturing company.
Nassar added that the company has great experience in the nature and potential of the Egyptian market through the presence of factories in Egypt for almost 40 years, which prompted the company to study the benefit of Egypt’s logistic position and its competitive advantages to expand the company’s investment and marketing activities in the African markets.
