The Turkish giant food retailer, BIM has started the construction process of 40 new branches in Egypt. Having 40 new branches shall be the first phase of BIM’s planned investments in Egypt within the coming period.
Zeki Ekinci – the Chairman of Turkish-Egyptian Businessmen’s Association (TUMİAD) – told Amwal Al Ghad that BIM had already rented many storages in different areas in Egypt so as to establish its own branches in Cairo alongside a number of governorates.
Furnishing and making BIM’s new branches ready to start work will be in 2013, Ekinci added.
