Tourism Ministry receives Egypt’s March Summit with EGP6.4 Bln projects

Egypt’s newly-appointed Tourism Minister Khaled Ramy held Wednesday a meeting with officials in charge of preparing tourist projects for the country’s Economic Summit.

The summit will take place in Sharm El-Sheikh from March 13-15, 2015.

Tourism Development General Authority has finished the arrangements of North Hurgada comprehensive development project -known as Gamsha Tourist Centre– with total space of 8.15 million m3. This project is with an estimated cost of at EGP 2.3 billion, according to Tourism Development General Authority plan.

The Egyptian tourism ministry will be presenting a number of investment projects to the Summit’s participants, notably South Magaweesh centre at space of 4.5 million m2 worth EGP 2 billion approximately. In addition, the minister would showcase the Western North Coast project at space of around 11 million m2 worth EGP 320 million, and other major touristic projects.
