Top 50 Women Forum has signed on Wednesday a cooperation protocol with the Institute of National Planning (INP) to scale up the empowerment of Egyptian women.
The protocol aims to qualify the next generation of female cadres with pioneering success, supporting women in futuristic planning. It also aims to support female fresh graduates, new hires, as well as first and second-line leaders working in public and private business sectors to achieve career-life balance and professional excellence.
The protocol’s objective is to create accredited training programmes for female trainees who will receive completion certificates after the final assessment. To ensure sectoral diversity, the protocol will also extend various partnerships with public and private partnerships, either globally or locally.
The Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) is an international, multi-stakeholder and independent non-profit organisation that has developed Sustainability Reporting guidelines for corporates that strive to increase their eco-friendly footprint, as well as the accountability of economic, environmental, and social performance. Accordingly, Egyptian companies will be able to realise the methods of achieving sustainability, as well as how to manage the reform to address any management issues.
TOP 50 Women Forum is the first-of-its-kind platform that brings together female technocrats in Egypt. The forum was set up by 50 honorees recognised as the most influential women in the Egyptian economy during Amwal Al Ghad Annual Award Ceremony which was held in January 2016 under the auspices of Egypt’s Prime Minister. The Forum targets promoting women’s role as key partners in socio-economic development. Its members are female ministers and C-suite executives working for major companies operating in various economic sectors, as well as female entrepreneurs.
