S&P affirms Egypt’s rating at ‘B/B’

Ratings agency Standard & Poor’s affirmed Egypt’s ‘B/B’ credit rating on Friday, saying having competitive exchange rate, improved key macroeconomic indicators, and increasing domestic gas production should enable the country to reduce its external balances.

The rating agency kept its stable outlook unchanged.
