Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi is set to inaugurate on Tuesday the seventh edition of the national youth forum in the country’s New Administrative Capital under the heading ‘Innovate, Start’.
The first day of the forum will see a simulation model of the Egyptian state, while the second day is set to see the graduation of African students from the country’s presidential programme to train African youths.
The forum will also see the first conference for the state sponsored ‘Decent Life’ initiative, which was launched by Sisi in early 2019 to provide better living conditions for the most needy nationwide.
Sisi is also set to answer questions presented by youths through the ‘Ask the President’ online initiative.
The first youth conference was held in October 2016 in Sharm El-Sheikh.
The conferences are usually attended by young people, officials, experts and community members, and usually conclude with a number of recommendations related to the country’s political and economic affairs.
The Egyptian president has repeatedly addressed key issues about the state’s domestic affairs, as well as relationships with foreign partners, especially the Gulf and its national security.
