Singaporean firm to develop 33M sq. metres in Fayoum: Egypt’s Qabil

Egyptian industry ministry is set to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with a Singaporean firm to develop 33 million square metres in Fayoum governorate within the coming period.

Speaking to Amwal Al Ghad, Minister Tarek Qabil announced Sunday that hereby the MoU, the Singaporean firm would establish an industrial zone in the governorate.

The ministry is scheduled to hold a number of meetings with the Singaporean firm to ink the MoU and discuss the project.

The set-to-be-built zone would include a number of housing, industrial, and logistics projects, the minister clarified.

On the other side, Qabil clarified that the ministry would keep issuing land plots for investors within the coming period as it would issue around 5 million metres to execute new expansions in 10th of Ramadan City in December 2016.
