Sico seeks to open 30 technical support centres in Q3

Egypt-based SICO Technology seeks to establish 30 maintenance and technical support centres, in addition to the already existing 5 centers by the end of the third quarter if the current year.

Mahmoud Ali, Sales Director at Sico Technology, said that his company  has agreed since the beginning of the production of the first locally manufactured smartphone with 30 service and maintenance centres to distribute its production and provide support and maintenance services for smartphone.

He added that the new technical support centres are geographically distributed as follow 8 to 10 centres in Cairo and the rest would be established in 22 governorates.

Ali further noted that the company seeks to achieve total sales of 2.6 billion Egyptian pounds by 2020 compared to 1.3 billion pounds during 2018 and 1.9 million pounds in 2019, through selling 900,000 units in 2018, 1.5 million units in 2019 and 2 million units in 2020.

In February, SICO had launched its first Egyptian android smartphone through six models, their prices range between 999 Egyptian pounds and 4,200 pounds.
