Saudi Arabia’s real gross domestic product (GDP) rose by 8.7 percent in 2022 and 5.5 percent in the fourth quarter of the year on an annual basis, the General Authority for Statistics showed on Thursday.
The results of the authority’s monthly indicator bulletin showed a three percent rise in the mining and quarrying activity index, 19.2 percent in manufacturing and 3.4 percent in electricity and gas supply.
The increase represents in the growth of oil activities by 15.4 percent and non-oil activities by 5.4 percent, as well as the growth of government activities by 2.6 percent, the authority stated.
