Russian Lukoil to produce 250k barrels/day from Iraq’s Eridu field

Lukoil Company, the second largest oil production company in Russia, said on Monday that it will produce 250,000 barrels of oil daily from Iraqi field Eridu.

The statement added that both Lukoil and INPEX Company have received an approval from the government owned company Dhi Qar Oil Company for their proposal to develop the oilfield.

The Russian company also said that they are willing to move forward with the plan for developing the Eridu oilfield, to be able to produce 250 thousand barrels on daily basis.
